It all began in 2012 when agronomist Athanasios Tsagkadopoulos, amidst the intense economic crisis that had already taken shape in Greece, recognized the need to leverage the raw materials of Greek land to increase their added value. The production of almonds in the broader region, a few trips abroad in search of expertise, and the idea of producing 100% pure, edible vegetable oils had already started to take shape. After nearly two years of trials and research, in May 2014, this idea became a reality. A deep love for the products of Greek land and a drive for creation led to the founding of Amygdalea in Volos, with its main product, "Almond Oil of Volos."
